·        Letter dated 2nd March 2020 from the Department of Health in relation to Sláinte Care.

 

·        Letter received 26th February 2020 from the Department of Housing, Planning & Local Government in relation to Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council in relation to the Tenant Purchase Scheme.

 

Councillor Padraig Fallon noted the correspondence received in this regard does not deal with the income threshold and he said he has made contact with the Department on several occasions and he requested that further communication issue to the Department in relation to this issue.

 

·        Resolution from Cork County Council dated 28th February 2020 writing to Department of Health, Department of Justice and Equality and the Department of Children & Youth Affairs requesting recognition is given to Parental Alienation as a child welfare issue and to call on the Government to implement the recommendation of the Report on Reform of the Family Law System October 2019.

 

·        Letter dated 2nd April 2020 from the Office of Minister of State with Special responsibility for Financial Services and Insurance acknowledging Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council in relation to the cost of Insurance.

 

·        Letter from OPW on receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council in relation to Drainage of Rivers.

 

·        Letter dated 27th April 2020 from Deputy Frank Feighan TD acknowledging receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council regarding funding for Local Improvement Scheme.

 

·        Letter dated 14th May 2020 from the County Leitrim Society of New York.

 

·        Flyer for Detective Barney Ferguson, Emerald Legacy Fund.

 

·        Resolution from Sligo County Council dated 15th May 2020 in relation to local authorities being funded by the Government in order to maintain the services to make good rates shortfall in a similar manner in which Government have supported SME’s with regard to Covid payments.

 

·        Email received 3rd June 2020 from AILG regarding Members Activity Report for May 2019.

 

·        Email received 3rd April 2020 from the Department of Justice acknowledging receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council regarding Parental Alienation.

 

·        Email received 14th April 2020 from the Office of the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport acknowledging receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council regarding Driving Licences.

 

·        Email received 11thMay 2020 from Department of Communication, Climate Action and the Environment acknowledging receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council regarding Waste Policy.

 

Councillor Des Guckian sought an update in relation to this issue.

 

Mr Vincent Dwyer, Head of Finance, Water, Environment, Climate Action and Emergency Services advised Members that submissions closed 2 months ago, and a submission was made by Leitrim County Council. The Department are drafting policy documents now and we are waiting on a response in relation the submissions. 

 

·        Letter dated 27th March 2020 from the Office of the Minister for Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform acknowledging receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council regarding the sale of ATM Machines by Bank of Ireland and Allied Irish Bank.

 

·        Email received 8th April 2020 from the Office of the Minister for Justice & Equality in relation to Parental Alienation.

 

·        Email received 13th March 2020 from Department of Rural and Community Development regarding Local Improvement Scheme.

 

·        Email received 19th June 2020 from the Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform acknowledging receipt of Resolution passed by Leitrim County Council regardinglending rates from financial institutions to small medium enterprises.

 

·        Resolution from Carlow County Council dated 19th June 2020 condemning the action of PSNI in disrupting the Black Lives Matter protest in Guildhall Square, Derry.
