Questions submitted by JPC Members

5a

Question from Councillor Felim Gurn

Will the Manorhamilton Town CCTV scheme upgrade be eligible to avail of the funding for CCTV schemes that was recently announced by Minister Helen McEntee?

5b

Question from Councillor Felim Gurn

The speed of traffic is becoming a big issue for communities. Additional speed limit signage is needed for housing estates and new signage and speed rams are needed for villages like Lurganboy. These measures will help reduce the speed of the traffic passing through our villages.

5c

Question from Janice Raine Conick

Can CCTV cameras, of which An Garda Síochána can avail in their work, be provided in all North Leitrim towns and villages?

6.

Question from Councillor Sean McDermott:

I have been requested by constituents to raise the issue of the opening hours of Manorhamilton Garda Station. On occasions a notice has been put on the front door of this Garda Station advising people to make contact with Carrick-on- Shannon Garda Station with their issues. Manorhamilton Garda Station is a very important station and has responsibility for most of North Leitrim.
