Agenda and minutes

The Minutes of Meeting of Environment, Climate Action and Agriculture Strategic Policy Committee held on 20^th December 2023 were proposed by Councillor Justin Warnock, seconded by Councillor Sean McGowan.

There were no matters arising from the Minutes.

The Members received a presentation from Mr Fintan Coyle, Climate Action

Co-ordinator on the outcomes of the consultation process for the Draft Leitrim County Council Climate Action Plan. 

The Plan was considered by the Members, it was agreed that the Draft Leitrim County Council Climate Action Plan progress for approval by the Council Members.

Leitrim Climate Action Plan was proposed by Councillor Justin Warnock, seconded by Councillor Paddy Farrell.

The Members received a presentation from Ms.  Marie Mulligan, Senior Executive Engineer on the Multi-annual Rural Water Programme 2024-2026.

There are 9 individual funding measures available under MARWP 2024-2026.

The funding under this 3-year programme is open to existing group water schemes, group sewerage schemes or proposed group water schemes (Community Water Connections) with a minimum of 25 houses.

All submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 28th of February 2024.
