Ms Mary Quinn, Director of Services, Housing, Corporate Services, Community and Cultural Services outlined that it was proposed to hold the Annual Meeting of the Carrick-on-Shannon Municipal District on Friday, 26th June 2020 at 11.00 am in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon.

Proposed by Councillor Finola Armstrong McGuire seconded by Councillor Des Guckian   AND UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED;

“That the Annual Meeting of Carrick-on-Shannon Municipal District be held on Friday, 26th June 2020 at 11.00 am in the Bush Hotel, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim”.

Councillor Finola Armstrong McGuire sought clarification on how many persons could be facilitated in the Council Chamber under the current 2 metre social distancing rule in light of the current COVID 19 pandemic.

Ms Quinn confirmed 15 persons is the maximum number of persons permitted in the Council Chamber currently under the 2 metre social distancing rule and this will be reviewed if the rule changes from 2 metres to 1 metre.
